What is Firefly Asset Tracking System?

Firefly employs wireless technology to track and trace mission critical equipment assets throughout enterprise facilities. Employed Technology:

  • Radio Frequency Identification (RFID)
  • Real-time Location System (RTLS)

How Firefly works:

  • RFID Readers installed in designated floors, rooms, zones, etc.
  • RFID Reader connected to wifi network
  • Passive RFID tags attached to selected equipment assets
  • Equipment is mapped to various locations in Firefly database
  • Firefly identifies asset status as red, yellow, green
  • Application on laptops and mobile devices
  • Data transfers seamlessly to Sunflower, UFMS, and enterprise systems
